Governmental Social Responsibility Model: An Innovative Approach of Quality in Governmental Operations and Outcomes
G.S.R. Model
G.S.R. aims to contribute substantially to sustainable socio-economic development of SEE regions, through effectively tackling one of the most crucial issues: The quality and sustainability of the Public Sector and of its outcomes. Specifically G.S.R. focuses on the dynamic enhancement of the competences and the capacity of the governmental agencies, with the aim not only to improve productivity and efficiency (taken as significant, but secondary results), but most of all to initiate and facilitate the transition process towards excellence, as well as to define and introduce the concept of organizational social responsibility in the Public Sectors Agencies and to build upon it. Towards this direction, the partners will work on the development of a Model G.S.R. System which will be practiced in specific departments of governmental agencies of the target regions, leading to the design and application of pilot Action Plans in corresponding critical fields of intervention.
