The Joint Technical Secretariat of the CENTRAL EUROPE Programme which is a European Union funding programme that aims to make the Central European regions (covering Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and five border regions of Ukraine) more competitive, innovative, attractive, accessible and environmentally friendlier by enabling them to joint their forces within transnational cooperation projects - is currently looking for the Project Finance Manager and Project Manager.

The Project Finance Manager at the JTS Central Europe, among others, provides guidance to applicants on financial issues, monitors the finance aspects of the projects running in the Programme as well as prepares all related documentation and communication. The position requires, among others, a university degree ("Finance related field or professional equivalent experience"), knowledge of European Structural Funds environment, experience in project assessment and monitoring as well as knowledge of international audit standards. The deadline for receiving the applications is: 19 February 2010.

The Project Manager at the JTS Central Europe, among others, provides guidance to applicants, assesses the received project applications, monitors activity aspects of the approved projects as well as prepares all related documentation and communication. The position requires, among others, a university degree ("in relevant disciplines: e.g. economics, business sciences"), knowledge of European Structural Funds environment, and experience in project evaluation and monitoring. The deadline for receiving the applications is: 26 February 2010.
