Call for applications for hosting the Managing Authority of the future South East Gateway Programme

The Task Force for the future SOUTH EAST GATEWAY Programme has launched a call for applications for hosting the Managing Authority. The deadline for submission of application is 22.07.2013.

On 6 October 2011 the European Commission (EU COMM) adopted a draft legislative package for the Cohesion Policy for the funding period 2014 - 2020. According to the draft regulations, European Territorial Cooperation will be continued and even reinforced as separate cohesion goal. The existing strands of cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation will be maintained.

The EU COMM presented its views on the future transnational programme areas on 18 December 2012 to be adopted by means of implementing act. According to the proposal, the SOUTH EAST GATEWAY Programme will be composed of the following partner countries/regions: the Republic of Austria, the Republic of Cyprus, the Hellenic Republic, the Republic of Italy, the Republic of Malta, the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, the Republic of Albania, Bosnia an Herzegovina, the Republic of Montenegro, the Republic of Serbia.

Additionally to that the Republic of Bulgaria, Hungary and the Republic of Romania have expressed their wish to participate to the Programme.

The objectives, priorities and the amount of funding allocated to the future SOUTH EAST GATEWAY transnational cooperation Programme for the period 2014-2020 are still in the negotiation phase.

On 11 April 2013 the Task Force (TF) was established as a working group consisting of relevant and professional responsible institutions for territorial cooperation in the SOUTH EAST GATEWAY Programme area, in order to guide the programming as well as the evaluation process and develop the required documents.

Based on the decision taken during the above mentioned meeting, the TF is launching a call for applications for hosting the future Managing Authority.

The call is open from 11.06.2013.

The Application Form (AF) has to be submitted electronically to the Joint Technical Secretariat of the SEE Programme 2007 - 2013 (SEE JTS) until 22.07.2013 (10 pm Central European time) according to the template provided below.
