After one year and a half of in-depth analyses and first pilot activities the midterm Conference of the project ACCESS 2 MOUNTAIN to be held in Kosice (Slovakia) on the 16th-18th October 2012 will provide an opportunity for an interim conclusion on sustainable mobility and tourism.

ACCESS2MOUNTAIN aims to improve environmentally friendly accessibility to and within tourist areas in the Alps and Carpathians and raise awareness for sustainable mobility. The SEE-project builds on the cooperation of partners and observers from 17 countries in the Alps and Carpathians with an exchange of transferable best practice as well as implemented mobility measures.

The midterm Conference will take place in Kosice from 16-18 October 2012. Not only will the project partners present their first outputs and results, but external experts and stakeholders in the field of transport and tourism as well as related disciplines will also be invited to present their views on the project and the concerned questions of sustainable mobility and tourism.
