The NEWADA consortium is pleased to invite you to attend the project's final event on 22 February 2012 in Budapest.                                                                         

The NEWADA project, short for "Network of Danube Waterway Administrations" has been working for the past three years at increasing the efficiency of the Danube corridor by intensifying cooperation between waterway administrations. The final event will give you an opportunity to experience the outcome of the project. The NEWADA project team will share its experience, new tools and achievements with an interested public. NEWADA stakeholders, users as well as all those interested in the activities, results and prospects of NEWADA are warmly invited to attend. 

The event will be held in the prestigious NOVOTEL in Budapest on the Danube riverbank and hosted by the Hungarian National Association of Radio Distress-Signalling and Infocommunications under the patronage of High-level Hungarian government official  Zoltán Schváb.

A busy agenda is awaiting the participants: in the morning session keynote speakers will present the relevance of the project and the project outcome.  In the afternoon session, project members will go into more details on the services, the activities and the results while other speakers will give an external view on what NEWADA has brought for positive changes. Experts and users of the NEWADA services will have a forum to engage in panel discussions on a wide range of topics among which "NEWADA communication activities" or "what are the benefits of WP6 results for the countries involved"?.

Between the sessions, the attendees will have an opportunity to get a "closer look" at the results of the NEWADA work packages, presented by the WP leaders themselves in an interactive setting.
