New newsletters published by SNAP-SEE and Sagittarius

The projects SNAP-SEE and Sagittarius have published a new issue of their newsletters to inform about their recent cooperation activities.

The SNAP-SEE project aims at improving planning processes of supply of aggregates for construction industry (sand, gravel, crushed rocks; construction and demolition waste, mine waste, materials extracted from civil works) in SEE countries, and integrating planning for primary and secondary aggregates, so as to increase resource efficiency, and raise capacity levels among authorities, industry and civil society with respect to aggregates management, planning and supply.



In the 2nd issue of the SNAP-SEE newsletter you can read an update about:


-          aggregates growth prospects in SEE


-          the enhanced cooperation, information sharing, and capacity building amongst stakeholder organizations involved in or potentially impacted by aggregates planning and supply,


-          reports from stakeholders consultations held in 9 countries.


-          data and analysis needed to support aggregates planning,


-          multisectoral analysis of the current state of primary and secondary aggregates planning approach in each partner country and


-          a scheme for aggregates planning in SEE.


The project Sagittarius aims at launching (g)local level heritage entrepreneurship through strategies and tools to unite forces, safeguard the place, mobilize cultural values, deliver the experience. Its last neswletter focuses on the project participation in the last Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Strategy.
