Results on the joint conference Danubeparks Step 2.0 and Newada Duo
On 16th and 17th October 2013, the 'Cross-sectoral Conference on River Morphology and Ecological River Management', organized jointly by DANUBEPARKS STEP 2.0 and NEWADA duo, took place in Hainburg/Austria. The minutes and results of the conference are now available.
This workshop brought together 40 experts from 8 Danube countries, representing the nature conservation as well as the inland waterway sector.
The good atmosphere prepared the floor for an intensive exchange of experiences and positions and contributed to a better understanding between the sectors. Numerous ideas for possible fields of cooperation were developped, and the interest as well as the need for further discussion has been stressed by all participants.
