Thematic Pole 7: MULTIMODAL ACCESSIBILITY TO PRIMARY NETWORKS

This thematic pole involves projects which are tackling the development of primary accessibility in the SEE region supporting a multimodal transport area, in line with the TEN-T transport network. The projects focus on the improvement of the transnational dialogue, the optimisation of services and facilities based on the current infrastructural network, the removal of bottlenecks and legislative obstacles that affects the accessibility of the region. It is expected that capitalisation activities focus on exchange of information allowing a leverage effect of the results achieved, as well as improving the stakeholders' dialogue and the capacity of influencing the decision making processes for a better accessibility of the region. The outcomes of this pole should include recommendations in view of a more targeted future project development, identifying the cases in which transnational cooperation is the necessary dimension for tackling certain aspects of primary accessibility.
